WESTPORT — The Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts will launch its 43rd summer season with Desert Highway - A Tribute to the Eagles on Sunday, June 26.

From "Hotel California” to "Take It Easy", Desert Highway delivers a non-stop journey through the Eagles’ greatest hits - including “Life In The Fast Lane”, “Peaceful Easy Feeling”, “Heartache Tonight”, and “Desperado”. In addition, the solo works of Eagles members, such as Don Henley and Joe Walsh, will be added to the Eagles repertoire throughout the evening.

Desert Highway is a group of professionals who are studio and concert tour veterans with major recording artists. They perform the inspired vocal harmonies and intricate guitar styles made famous by the legendary group - and perform live without any prerecorded instruments or vocals added. For opening night the six piece band will be augmented with the three piece “Desert Horns” - adding an extra layer of live music to the performance.

Opening night is presented free-of-charge and is sponsored by People’s United Bank. It will be the start of the Levitt Pavilion’s 43rd summer season - featuring its signature “50 Free Nights under the Stars”. The complete Summer Season announcement will be published soon.

Because Opening Night of the Levitt Pavilion’s Summer Season is traditionally a highly anticipated event, free tickets will be distributed in advance. Free tickets will be available to the public at noon on Thursday, June 16 at www.levittpavilion.com. No tickets will be distributed at the Levitt Pavilion. All tickets are BYO-lawn chair. An on-site concession will be open and picnics are welcome.

Lawn opens to Levitt Pavilion members with tickets at 5 p.m. and to all ticket-holders at 5:30 p.m. The concert will start at 7 p.m.
