I strongly believe that Jeannie Smith has the character, competence and dedication necessary to continue to serve on our Westport Board of Education.

Jeannie's skill set provides a unique perspective to the board, truly making her the "Educator for the Board of Education." Democrats and Republicans alike would agree that given her experience as an educator, her voice is an essential one on the board. I believe her experience in the classroom as well as her expertise in curriculum development, allows her to convey to the board how important issues impact the classroom on a day-to-day basis.

She is a strong advocate for advancements in our curriculum, striving for continuous improvement in our schools. With her passion and dedication to education, Jeannie is committed to providing the children of Westport with the best education possible.

I believe that with Jeannie's current leadership and influence on the Board of Education, Westport schools will continue to be best-in-class, as evidenced by the recent Blue Ribbon Award for Academic Excellence given to Staples High School by the U.S. Department of Education.

Please join me in voting for Jeannie Smith, the educator for the Westport Board of Education.
