The Friends of Sherwood Island State Park would like to thank the community for coming out to support our annual ShoreFest fundraiser and helping sustain and improve the Sherwood Island Nature Center. We had the largest turn out ever this year.

Special thanks go to Robin Batteau and David Buskin for their beautiful music, A Place Called Hope for bringing its amazing birds for us to enjoy and to the Southport Brewery Company for its generosity. Each year, individuals and merchants throughout town generously donate to our silent auction. Every item was greatly appreciated.

Thanks, also, to thank board member Louis Pietig for his hard work this year and every year in gathering and presenting the items. A special shout-out goes to park supervisor Jim Beschle and staff.

Thank you everyone for caring about Sherwood Island State Park, our largest open space in Westport.
