Ted Hoffstatter is running for State Representative in the 143rd District, which now includes the Saugatuck area of Westport. Ted is an experienced and highly qualified candidate, having been elected for three terms as a member of the Wilton Board of Selectmen.
As a selectman, he has established a reputation as a fiscal conservative and social progressive. He is tough on budgets and taxes. He has been endorsed by the Sierra Club and the Connecticut Education Association. Ted has garnered support from Democrats, Republicans and independent voters who rightfully recognize that he has always put the interests of community before partisanship. I hope you will join me in voting for Ted. He will be a State Representative we can all be proud of.
The writer is a former Westport Selectman and former Commissioner the Connecticut Department of Children and Families.
