The 45th annual Westport Community Thanksgiving Feast was a great success! On behalf of Saugatuck Congregational Church, Temple Israel, the Unitarian Church in Westport and the United Methodist Church of Westport and Weston — as well as the 300-plus guests who had a wonderful time — we want to thank all our volunteers and sponsors.

We are blessed in this community with an abundance of willing souls who are fully responsible for this wonderful event, and we extend sincere thanks to the more than 100 folks who showed up and lent a hand.

As always, food was generously donated by the Fresh Market, Newman’s Own, Panera Bread, SoNo Baking Company, Stew Leonard’s, Stop & Shop, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods Market, as well as Temple Israel Early Childhood Center, the Conservative Synagogue, and Homes with Hope. Thanks also go to the Westport Garden Club and Coleytown Elementary School for table decorations, and to Westport public schools for lending us food warming equipment.

Financial support came from Coleytown Middle School, Darien Rowayton Bank, Fairfield County Bank, Patriot Bank, People's United Bank and Tauck World of Giving,

Finally, applause to Bob Cooper and his colleagues for the wonderful music!

Once again, thanks to all our contributors. And a reminder that we will be gathering again at Saugatuck Congregational Church for the 2015 Christmas Day community reception.
