WESTPORT — The jazz trio, La Voz de Tres, will perform March 6 at the Westport Arts Center.

The performance will take place at 3 p.m. in the arts center, 51 Riverside Ave.

The trio combines “Latin American music with original compositions and picks from the great American songbook to create their own truly unique sound,” according to publicity from

The New York City-based jazz trio includes Chilean vocalist Natalia Bernal, keyboardist Mike Eckroth and seven-string guitarist Jason Ennis. The band has performed at jazz venues across the U.S.

For arts center performance, the trio will play music from its most recent CD, “Sueños y Delirios” (Dreams and Deliria), focused on the theme of dreams.

Brian Torff, the Westport Arts Center’s artistic director for jazz, said in publicity for the concert: “Natalia Bernal is an exceptional talent, one of the best vocalists I have heard in quite a long time. Her warmth and extreme musicality combined with the sensitive guitar accompaniment of Jason Ennis should make this a very special concert.”

As part of the event, Torff will share commentary on the trio and the group’s program.

Tickets for the concert are $25 for Westport Arts Center members and $30 for non-members, and can be purchased at www.westportartscenter.org or by calling 203-222-7070. A limited number of discounted senior concert tickets will be available for presale at the Westport Center for Senior Activities, 21 Imperial Ave.
