Kent to host town-wide open house

The merchants of Kent will team up Nov. 29 to host a town-wide open house Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Festivities will include a children's story hour at Kent Memorial Library at 11 a.m., a wine tasting and Kent Wine & Spirit from 1 to 8 p.m., a "Walk off the Turkey" hike at 2 p.m. at Backcountry Outfitters, fire truck rides from 2 to 4 p.m., bulb demonstrations at Kent Greenhouse and door prizes at Terston Home Accents.
