Judith Day Borden, 80, formerly of Westport, died April 25 in Riverside, Calif. She was the husband of Donald D. Borden of Riverside.

Born Sept. 8, 1930, in Westport, she lived in town until 1949. In California, she has active in golf and tennis, and the Women's Southern California Golf Association named its Volunteer of the Year award in her honor.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by two sons, Bill Borden and wife Joyce of Alpine, Calif; Tom Borden and wife Terry of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; a brother, John Mohr of Unionville, Pa.; a sister, Joan Mohr of Clifton, N.J., and four grandchildren.

A memorial service was held in Riverside and burial was planned at Riverside National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Riverside's Calvary Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund or the Women's Southern California Golf Association Foundation.
