JOHN CLARKE JR.

John Clarke Jr. of Novato, Calif., died March 4, 2010, by his own hand.

He was born in Norwalk on July 7, 1967. Clarke grew up in Darien and attended Darien High School. He was a talented oil burner and HVAC technician who worked diligently to obtain the highest level of professional licensing offered by the state. He was employed by various local firms, including Devine Brothers, Rowayton Fuel and Dino's Oil.

Clarke spent endless hours riding his BMW motorcycle and made several cross-country trips on his bike. He excelled at the game of pool and also greatly enjoyed fishing. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his father, John Clarke Sr. of Westport, other relatives and his circle of friends.

A memorial service will be at held at St. Paul's Church on the Green, 60 East Ave., Norwalk, on Saturday, March 13, at 5 p.m.
