JENNIE L. BONIELLO

Jennie L. Boniello of Westport, 94, died last week at Norwalk Hospital after a brief illness.

Boniello was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and, in 1982, moved to Yonkers, N.Y., where she lived until moving to Westport in 2000.

Boniello retired from her position as a seamstress finisher for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union in 1978. She was a parishioner of Assumption Church.

She is survived by her sister, Millie Mastriacovo; her niece, Carol Munoz and her husband, Gus of North Lauderdale, Fla.; her nephew, Fred Mastriacovo and his wife, Irene of Westport; grand nephews and niece, Dr. Paul Bellofiore of Waterbury, Mark Bellofiore and his wife, Sharon of Trumbull, Anthony Bellofiore and his wife, Andrea of Glastonbury, Dr. Lisa Bellofiore Plonski and her husband, David of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and six great grand nieces and nephews, Jenna, Stephanie, Kaitlyn, Anika, Eric and Alexander. In addition to her family members, Boniello was known as "Aunt Jennie" to all who knew her.

Calling hours took place Sunday at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday in Assumption Church on Riverside Avenue, Westport.
