JEAN FORMAN WRIGHT

Jean Forman Wright, 86, of Sarasota, Fla., died March 8, 2010.

She was born in New Salem, Pa., and resided in Westport from 1964 to 1986, prior to retiring to Florida. She served as an ensign in the Navy Nurse Corps during World War II. A retired public health nurse, she spent many years providing healthcare at Hillspoint Elementary and Staples High School. She was a member of Alpha Xi Delta, Junior League of Sarasota and the Sarasota Yacht Club.

She is survived by her son, Robert B. Wright Jr. and his wife, Dottie M. of San Diego, Calif.; and her daughter, Katharine R. Wright of Sarasota, Fla.
