Hundreds of residents flocked Sept. 19 to the Sunny Valley Preserve in New Milford for its annual Open Farm Day.
In addition to hayrides, a corn maze and animal exhibits, festivities included the sale of pumpkins, the viewing of antique and modern tractors and farm equipment, face painting, a kiddie construction cornbox, games, a processing livestock feed demonstration, an historical display, animal petting, a scavenger hunt and hiking.
Demonstrations of spinning wool and soap making were also offered patrons.
