WESTPORT — Thanks to the Norwalk-based Schneerson Center for Jewish Life, there’s a little more light shining in Westport this week.

A menorah lighting ceremony on the Post Road outside of Trader Joe’s drew a small crowd of celebrants Tuesday night, with singing, dancing and latkes for all.

“A little bit of light expels a lot of darkness,” said Rabbi Levi Stone, executive director. “That’s the message.”
