WESTPORT — Goblins, ghosts and ghoulies were out in droves Thursday afternoon at Westport Town Hall, where the annual Halloween parade found shelter from inclement weather.

Sponsored by the Westport P.A.L., the Downtown Merchant Association, and the town itself, the popular event drew hundreds of young costumed trick-or-treaters. Along with some dancing and socializing, kids got to roam the halls of government filling their bags with goodies handed out by spirited town employees from all departments.
