The Hoot Owls, a men's glee club affiliated with the Y's Men, is seeking new voices to add to its membership.

The choral group has about 20 members and does about 15 performances a year for senior centers and assisted-living facilities, the group said. Most of the numbers performed are old songs and show tunes that its audiences know.

The Hoot Owls are directed by professional musician and singer Chris Coogan.

Participants need not have choral experience nor be members of the Y's Men, the group said. Rehearsals are held Thursdays at 12:45 p.m. at St. Luke Church, 84 Long Lots Road, unless a performance is scheduled then.

For more information about the Hoot Owls, call Jorgen Jensen at 203-227-7672 or Jack Martin at 203-504-2655.
