Westport Animal Shelter Advocates has a kitten available for adoption.

The feline, named "Malloy," was found recently outside of Westport Public Library by staff member Kathleen Malloy with multiple abrasions, according to a release. Westport Animal Control Officer Joe Saponare brought the kitten, which had no body temperature, to Schulof Animal Hospital, where she is recovering.

WASA is covering Malloy's vet costs while seeking a home for her while she recuperates at the hospital since Westport Animal Control does not have facilities for cats, nor does WASA have cat fosters, the release states.

The kitten, believed to be between 2 and 3 months old, is cuddly and loves to be held.
