�Trail ride for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: Nov. 9, 9 a.m., Second Company Governor's Horse Guard, eight miles through Fairfield Hills. Open to all horse owners; riders under 18 must have a release form signed by parent or guardian. Riders must wear helmets and bring proof of current coggins and rabies vaccinations for each horse. CLASSES AND LECTURES

�Flu vaccination clinics: are being held throughout the region by area visiting nurse associations. Check with your local agency. Doctors will also offer it in their offices. There will also be flu vaccination clinics in commercial spaces, such as banks, supermarkets and malls. Check with provider about cost and insurance.
