He served as chief of medicine for the Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission from 1969 to 1972, which studied the lasting health impact of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bomb explosions on the survivors and their families in the two Japanese cities. The public is invited to attend the lecture; admission is free. FREE SERVICES

n Maid service for women undergoing cancer treatment: THE MAIDS Home Services in Brookfield and Waterbury, have partnered with the Cleaning for a Reason Foundation to provide a complimentary service to women battling cancer in Greater Danbury and Greater Waterbury.
