Sleep lecture set

for March 28

Dr. Stasia Wieber presents a free lecture, "Sleep Right Tonight," on Monday, March 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lovell Room of the Stratford Public Library, Main Street.

Wieber is in practice with Associates in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine in Fairfield. She has authored and contributed to more than a dozen research articles published in leading medical journals and has also appeared on NBC's "The Today Show" discussing insomnia treatments.

Tourette support group meeting

There will be a support group meeting for families dealing with Tourette Syndrome on Wednesday, March 30, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Derby Public Library, 313 Elizabeth St.

Those who have TS or are affected by it will share resources and discuss dealing and coping with this disorder. Children are welcome. Call Karen at 203-734-6211, or email k.thompson06@yahoo.com.

Overeaters Anonymous meets

Overeaters Anonymous meets every Sunday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart University, 5151 Park Ave., Fairfield, in Room SC-103. The group is for those who want to stop eating compulsively. There are no dues or fees, and no weigh-in.

Free dental check-ups for kids

The Fones School of Dental Hygiene Clinic is providing free dental care to children 1 to 18 who do not have insurance, or who are underinsured, through April 29.

Care includes cleanings, checkups, and X-rays. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Fones Clinic is located at the University of Bridgeport, 60 Lafayette St. To make an appointment, call 203-576-4137.

Milford Hospital variety show

Milford Hospital presents its third annual rendition of the musical variety show "Needles and Splints" on April 9. The show features employees, medical staff, family, and friends of Milford Hospital performing famous songs and dance routines from Broadway and the big screen.

Tickets can be purchased through the Milford Hospital Foundation office, 281 Seaside Ave., by mail, by calling 203-783-1143 or online at www.milfordhospital.org.

The cost is a $15 donation to the Milford Hospital Foundation.
