Families are invited to celebrate Hanukkah with the Congregation for Humanistic Judaism. The Hanukkah program starts at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec 8, at Bedford Middle School, 88 North Ave.

The morning begins with a service celebrating the traditions and stories of Hanukkah from a humanistic perspective. Guests Rayhan and Ada Pasternak will lead the service, provide musical accompaniment and teach Israeli folk dancing after the service. Children from CHJ's Sunday School will participate in readings, songs, and candle lighting. There will be a party following the service with food, arts and crafts, and games.

Jewish and interfaith families interested in learning about the congregation are invited to attend the celebration.
