The Friends of Hall-Brooke has issued a call to area artists for entries in its 11th annual art show and sale scheduled for May.
Artists will retain 60 percent of sales, with 40 percent benefitting Friends of Hall-Brooke, a group whose mission is to de-stigmatize issues of mental health, the group said, the organization said in a news release.
The weekend show in previous years has attracted more than 350 people. Featured exhibitors have included artists from Westport, Weston, Ridgefield, New Canaan, Darien, Norwalk, Fairfield, Bridgeport and Greenwich.
The best-in-show award at the 2012 show was won by Miggs Burroughs, of Westport.
Prospective entrants must provide six to 10 non-returnable images -- either digital or prints -- along with a brief biography, resume and an artist statement. They should be emailed to email@example.com or mailed to Friends of Hall-Brooke Annual Art Show, St. Vincent's Westport Campus, 47 Long Lots Road, Westport CT 06880.
Deadline for submission is March 1.
