The Westport Library has planned a "sing-along" screening of the movie musical "Grease" at 4 p.m. Saturday.
The film is free and open to the public in the library's McManus Room.
Set in late-1950s southern California, "Grease" is about the romance of an unlikely high school couple -- greaser Danny Zuko (played by John Travolta) and Australian "good girl" Sandy Olsson (played by Olivia Newton-John.).
Danny is the leader of the T-Birds, a group of black-jacket, hot-rodding greasers, while Sandy hangs with the Pink Ladies, a group of girls who always wear pink.
Popular songs in the film include "Summer Nights," "Hopelessly Devoted to You," "Grease" and "You're the One That I Want."
The 1978 Paramount film is based on a 1971 stage show and remains the nation's highest-grossing musical film.
After the library screening, Grease-inspired Pink Lady custard from Westport's Shake Shack will be served, the library said.
