Garden club to host speaker

The Westport Garden Club will host gardener Nancy DuBrule-Clemente as the guest speaker for its March meeting on Thursday, March 14.

The meeting, open to the public at no cost, will be held at 1 p.m. in the library's McManus Room, 20 Jesup Road.

DuBrule-Clemente, owner of Natureworks Horticultural Services of Northford, will discuss "Sequence of Bloom," according to a news release.

Her talk will cover how a gardener can plan and plant to have flowers in bloom throughout the gardening year rather than the typical two months to three months of bloom.
