Former Radio Shack worker charged with thefts from store

A former Radio Shack employee was arrested on an active warrant last Tuesday night and charged with stealing two items from the store and making 12 fraudulent refund transactions during the time of his employment, according to police.
James Barnes, 23, of Maplewood Avenue in Bridgeport, was charged with 14 counts of sixth-degree larceny.
He was released on $5,000 bond and was scheduled to have appeared Thursday in Norwalk Superior Court.
