They're getting their ducks in a row for Saturday's "Great Duck Race" down the Saugatuck River.

Members of the Westport Sunrise Rotary Club are prepping bright yellow rubber duckies -- 3,000 of them, to be precise -- for the big swim, which features $10,000 in prizes.

The annual event takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Jesup Green.

Those buying a $20 raffle ticket become eligible for a $5,000 gift card first-place prize, $1,000 gift card second-place prize and $500 gift cards for third through 10th places.

Tickets are on sale at Fairfield County Bank, corner of Post Road and Compo Road South; the Russell Agency, 317 Pequot Ave., Fairfield, and from any Sunrise Rotary member.

Proceeds from the Great Duck Race benefit the club's community causes and charities.
