Filomena A. Papagno, 98, wife of the late Anthony Papagno and a native of Westport, died March 25 at the Notre Dame Convalescent Home in Norwalk.

Born June 26, 1912 in Westport, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Amelia (Venezia) Renzulli and had been a town resident most of her life. She was a life member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Assumption.

Survivors include three daughters, Marie Gilbertie and her husband Salvatore of Easton, CarolAnn McClatchie and her husband David of Westport, and Jane M. Pronovost and her husband John of Vassalboro, Maine; 11 grandchildren, Salvatore and Thomas Gilbertie, Catherine Knipper, Celeste Vodola, Eric, Christopher, Matthew and Gretchen Brunner, Laura McClatchie, and Alisa and Rene Pronovost; 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 11 brothers and five sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place Monday, March 28, in Assumption Church. Burial was in Willowbrook Cemetery. The Harding Funeral Home in Westport handled arrangements.
