"Years in the Making: A Journey into Late Life Creativity," a film showcasing older Westport and Weston artists, will be broadcast at 8 p.m. Thursday by Connecticut Public Television.

"Years in the Making" is an award-winning documentary directed by veteran filmmaker Martin West and is narrated by actor Keir Dullea. It fouses on working artists ranging in age from 70 to 95 years old from Westport and Weston, who share insights into the creative process as they face the challenges of aging.

"Years in the Making" will also be screened at 4 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Silvermine Guild Arts Center in New Canaan. Seventeen of Silvermine's artist members are among the artists in the documentary. A panel discussion with West, producer Kristin Rasich Fox, and artists Jak Kovatch and Barbara Rothenberg will follow; artist and co-producer Ann Chernow will moderate.
