WESTPORT — A Fairfield woman was arrested Nov. 25 for allegedly shoplifting clothes from a store in downtown Westport during the summer.

Police said Nicole Torrealba stole two $22 shirts from the Brandy Melville store on Main Street on the afternoon of June 16. Having shopped at the store before, the 19-year-old was identified through store surveillance footage and witnesses who saw the alleged shoplifting, according to the department.

Westport Police arrested Torrealba Nov. 25 after Fairfield Police took her into custody. The resident of Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield was charged with larceny, sixth-degree, and breach of peace. Her bail was set at $500 ahead of a Dec. 9 court date.
