Douglas Tirola, 44, of Myrtle Avenue, was arrested Monday morning on a charge of second-degree failure to appear.
Tirola turned himself at Westport police headquarters after learning he was wanted for failing to appear in court for an unspecified misdemeanor.
Tirola's bail was set at $2,500 and he is scheduled to appear Aug. 5 in Norwalk Superior Court.
