The emergency shelter opened by Westport officials at Long Lots School to house residents displaced by Hurricane Sandy closed this afternoon.
Those still there were either sent to hotels or other housing arrangements were made.
The shelter at one point during the storm housed more than 200 people.
Officials made the announcement at today's briefing at the Emergency Operations Center, as the response to the storm shifts to a "recovery and restoration" strategy.
