Driver charged with DUI after chain-reaction crash

An Easton man was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol after rear-ending a car and starting a chain-reaction accident involving three cars last Thursday night at the intersection of Main Street and North Compo Road, police said.
Martin Levine, 57, of Redding Road in Easton, failed roadside sobriety tests, accordign to the report.
He was released on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear Sept. 5 in Norwalk Superior Court.
