Danbury man accused of assault found hiding in woods

Police say Karl Kaatterin, 52, of Danbury, was arrested after police responded to a call for a domestic violence incident at a residence in Brookfield. During the investigation, police say they found Kaatterin hiding in a wooded area in an adjacent back yard.

A Newtown police K-9 unit assisted in locating Kaatterin, according to the police news release.
