William Lyons, 36, of Canal Park, was arrested Wednesday after police said he tried to break into a business at 40-44 Post Road East.

Lyons banged on the windows and doors of the Crumbs bake shop after he was denied entry because it was closed, police said. Lyons also yelled threats at the employees who were still inside, according to the report. (The initial information incorrectly indicated the business was the Tiffany & Co. outlet next door.)

He was charged with breach of peace and threatening.
