A Norwalk woman faces a larceny charge for writing a bad check for carpet treatment, police said.
Barbara Salinas, 43, of Poplar Street in Norwalk, turned herself in to police on an active arrest warrant Oct. 9 and was charged with fourth-degree larceny, police said.
The larceny charge was field after police said Salinas wrote a check for carpet treatment, which could not be cashed by the business. After being contacted about the problem, Salinas still failed to pay for the service, police said.
She was released after posting $1,500 bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 21 in Norwalk Superior Court.
