Bradford Biggers, 53, of 39 Imperial Ave., was arrested March 22 at approximately 9:30 p.m. after he reportedly tried to drive up the handicapped-access ramp at the Westport Woman's Club.

Officers dispatched to the scene found Biggers driving in the club's parking lot, and noticed that the ramp had been damaged. When they spoke with Biggers, alcohol could be smelled on his breath, police said. Biggers also failed field sobriety tests, police said.

Biggers was charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, third-degree criminal mischief and simple trespass. He was released on $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear March 31 in Norwalk Superior Court.
