A Bridgeport man is facing charges following a motor vehicle stop last Tuesday.
Max Michel, 36, of Madison Avenue was charged with sixth-degree larceny by possession, misuse of license plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and driving with no front license plate.
Michel was charged after police stopped him on suspicion that his vehicle was not registered. He was then charged with possession of a stolen license plate after a computer check showed that a plate displayed on the vehicle he was driving had been stolen in Ansonia, according to a police report.
He was released on a promise to appear Aug. 29 in Norwalk Superior Court.
