Devin Flores, 31, of Springfield, Mass., who rented a 2010 Hyundai Accent from Value Rental Car in Orlando, Fla., and failed to return it, was tracked by GPS to Westport, police said.

The rental vehicle was eventually last Thursday located in the area of 59 Crescent Road and 701 Post Road East, according to the tracking unit in the car, police said. Officers found the car in the rear of McDonald's and identified Flores when he walked over to the vehicle, police said.

Flores gave officers permission to search the vehicle, according to the report, and officers said they found a black briefcase-type bag containing a small glassine bag with 0.8 grams of marijuana inside.

Flores was charged with second-degree larceny and possession of less than one half-ounce of marijuana. He was released on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Jan. 31 in Norwalk Superior Court.
