An employee of John's Best Pizza, Post Road West, was charged with breach of peace Friday after threatening a fellow employee with a baseball bat in the restaurant's rear parking lot, police said.

Jesus Rodriguez, 32, of Cove Avenue, Norwalk, had left prior to officers arriving at the scene, but was later located at his home. He told officers while he has a problem with the other employee and did shove the man, but also said he did not threaten anyone with a baseball bat, according to the report.

He was released on a promise to appear Feb. 7 in Norwalk Superior Court.
