A 37-year-old man working with a contractor at a local home last week faces charges after police said he showed a pornographic video on his cellphone to the homeowner’s children.

Luis Guevara of Stamford was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct in connection with the incident last Friday.

While working on the premises, according to the report, Guevara entered a room where the homeowners’ two children, ages 6 and 8, were playing, and showed the youngsters a pornographic video that he had on his cellphone.

The children immediately reported the incident to their mother, police said.

Before officers arrived on scene, the contractor was told about the incident by the parent and gathered together his workers, who subsequently identified Guevara as the suspect.

Bond for Guevara was set at $30,000, and is scheduled to appear Aug. 24 at state Superior Court in Norwalk.
