A Bridgeport man was charged with narcotics possession after his car was stopped Wednesday night on West Parish Road for what police called an “equipment violation.”
Laquann Brooks, 37, of Connecticut Avenue in Bridgeport was charged after police said they found a “small bag of cocaine” near the driver’s seat as the vehicle was searched following the stop.
Brooks posted $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Aug. 28 at state Superior Court in Norwalk.
