Colleen Faith White, a daughter of Susan Y. White and Jeffrey White of Westport, was married on June 4 to Carson Thomas Brown, a son of Leslie E. Brown and Cameron S. Brown, of Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

The Rev. Thomas Collins, a Roman Catholic priest, performed the ceremony at St. Mary’s Church in Cooperstown, N.Y. The wedding reception took place at the Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown, NY.

The bride, 30, is a Boston-based media specialist at SutherlandGold, a public relations agency headquartered in San Francisco. She directs media relations campaigns for consumer technology brands. From 1991 to 2002, he worked in New York as the chief financial officer of Major League Baseball. The bride’s mother is an owner and breeder of thoroughbred racehorses and the president of Packsaddle Road, a company in Palm Springs, Calif., that breeds thoroughbreds.

The bridegroom, also 30, is the associate director of facilities and operations at Boston College. The family donated the funds to construct the Little League field named after Jeff’s father, James, in 1992. The town dedicated the entire Town Farms complex, as well as its road, in tribute to Mary Ellen White, Jeff’s aunt, who for many years ran local Little League operations, after her death in 2006.

Erin Hallman, the bride’s sister, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included the bridegroom’s sister, Caroline Brown, along with Heidi Millar, Stacy Stevens, Ashley Edwards and Vanessa Hernandez.
