The Environmental Action Group of the Unitarian Church will host speaker, Sailesh Rao on Sunday, Feb. 2, at 12:30 p.m. He will address climate change and the global shift in human consciousness.

Sailesh is the executive director of Climate Healers (www.climatehealers.org), a California-based nonprofit group formed to actively and effectively combat the climate crisis. The goal of Climate Healers is to reforest one-sixth of the ice-free land area of the earth so that world's CO2 emissions turn negative. In order to accomplish this, Climate Healers partner with nonprofit organizations, tribal villages and school clubs to help low-income areas improve their energy efficiency.

The program at the Unitarian Church, 10 Lyons Plains Road, is free and open to the public. For more information, contact David Vita at david@uuwestport.org or 203.227.7205 x14.
