Christmas tree sale at Wakeman Town Farm

Wakeman Town Farm and Gilbertie's Herb Gardens will conduct a Christmas tree and greenery sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the farm, 134 Cross Highway. A Christmas tree lighting will follow at 5 p.m.

Items available for purchases will include assorted Fraser fir trees, undecorated wreaths, balsam wreaths decorated with pine, cedar and herbs and assorted natural decorations grown at Gilbertie's wholesale farm in Easton.

The lighting, a revival of a longtime Wakeman Family tradition, will include hot chocolate and a bonfire, according to a release.
