The chef at Westport's Blue Lemon restaurant, Bryan Malcarney, will conduct a cooking class and dinner on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Westport Center for Senior activities.
Malcarney will lead participants in preparing a meal of snapper cerviche, pork tenderloin with calvados sauce and fresh berries. The cost is $25, and participants will dine on the meal.
Advance registration is required.
Malcarney is a graduate of New York's French Culinary Institute. He has cooked at restaurants in Fairfield County, Martha's Vineyard and the Caribbean Island of Anguilla, where he developed his modern-American cuisine style, the senior center said.
