The co-founder of a Westport bond fund that specializes in spreading the risk of catastrophies will speak Thursday night, March 6, in the Westport Library's "Insights from Entrepreneurs" series.
Seo is managing principal of the firm, whose bonds are designed to spread the risk of damage caused by rare events such as Superstorm Sandy in the fall of 2012, the library said. Before founding the firm with his brother, Nelson, in 2001, he was a senior trader in Lehman Brothers' insurance products group and a state-appointed adviser to the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund.
