Carol Ann LeKashman, 59, of Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, formerly of Westport, died at home Aug. 21.
Born March 29, 1952, she is the daughter of Raymond and Beatrice LeKashman of Westport.
She was a graduate of Kent School in Kent and received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Wellesley College in Wellesley, Mass., after which she received a master's degree in business administration in marketing from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She also studied architecture at Catholic University in Washington D.C., where she earned a second master's degree.
She worked in financial services for 10 years at Citibank, Price Waterhouse and SRI International. She was also a project manager and marketing consultant for independent businesses in Connecticut, Athens, Greece and, most recently, St. Thomas.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Robin Downes and her partner, Raymond Kordsiemon of Charlotte Amalie; two brothers, John LeKashman and his wife Barbara of San Jose, Calif., and James Levine of New York City; nieces and nephews, Laura and Nathan Downes; John, David and Karen LeKashman; and Deborah Lonrau, and several great-nieces and -nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Kent School in St. Joseph's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be sent to Kent School, Kent, CT 06757.
