Bridge Street bridge repairs postponed to next week

Unsettled weather conditions have prompted town officials to postpone this week's planned closure of the Bridge Street bridge.

Officials announced earlier in the week that the span would be closed parts of Thursday and Friday as part of a continuing repair project.

They said Wednesday that the immediate forecast has prompted the postponement of the repairs to sometime next week. They did not specify a date for the closure.
