April wine tasting to aid mammogram program

New Milford Spirit Shoppe will host a spring wine-tasting April 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Candlewood Valley Country Club on Route 7 South in New Milford.

Over 100 wine samples will be available from a variety of vendors. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the Spirit Shoppe, located at 28 Grove St. Proceeds will benefit the New Milford Hospital mammogram program.

Just over $3,400 was raised at a November wine-tasting to benefit the program.
