Save Our Strays has several animals available for adoption at its shelter, 1677 Post Road East, including:

Midnight: This Lab/ Border Collie mix with a sweet temperament came from a New York City shelter after being found a year ago as a stray. She has been microchipped, spayed and given all her shots. She is about 4 or 5 years old, weighs about 60 pounds and appears to be housetrained.

Manny: Manny is a very affectionate cat which came from New York City. He had a pelvic fracture and a fracture in his tail upon arrving at the shelter but has fully recovered. He loves to nuzzle and roll over to have his belly rubbed.

Adoption fees for our animals are as follows: dogs, $250; adult cats, $100; and kittens 8 to 15 weeks old, $150.

All animals are up-to-date on all shots, spayed or neutered and well monitored for any health problems.
