Stories by women who have reached their 60th birthday will be the topic when writer Sherri Daley and contributors read the book, "What We Talk About When We're Over 60," on Sept. 9 at the Westport Library.

The program is set for 7 p.m. in the library's McManus Room. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

The speakers will include:

Daley, a public school teacher and freelance writer, says she would like to retire but feels she "must first hunt down the creators of the Common Core curriculum," according to a library release.

Leslie Beatus, a retired art teacher, has an eBay business selling high-end and designer accessories and clothing.

Suzanne Sheridan has been married to her partner, Rozanne Gates, a former agent for celebrities, since 2005.

Ingrid Bloom is a retired teacher, whose exercise regimen includes yoga, walking, swimming and jazzercise, the library says.

Suzanne Golub is a second-degree reiki practitioner, avid reader and gardener, according to the release.
